In this vital role, you will provide support, advocacy, and intervention for high-risk populations, including children, families, and individuals with disabilities. Your energy and expertise will help foster positive change and promote well-being within diverse communities. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs, including child welfare, family dynamics, and mental health concerns Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to stabilize clients during emergencies or high-stress situations Develop and implement tailored care plans that address individual client goals and community resources Advocate for clients within child protective services, social services, and other relevant agencies Support working with culturally diverse communities by respecting cultural differences and adapting approaches accordingly Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress notes using Microsoft Office tools Facilitate communication between clients and their families to promote understanding and conflict resolution Deliver first aid and CPR when necessary to ensure immediate safety during emergencies Support clients with disabilities by coordinating appropriate services and accommodations Engage in ongoing professional development related to child & family services, high-risk population support, and social work best practices Qualifications Proven experience working with children, families, or high-risk populations in a social work setting Knowledge of child protective services, child welfare, and child & family services protocols Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to manage stressful situations effectively Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds Ability to handle conflict management sensitively while maintaining professionalism Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve multicultural communities effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes Valid certification in CPR and first aid; additional certifications related to social work or child welfare are a plus Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred Join us in making a lasting impact—helping families thrive, supporting vulnerable populations, and building stronger communities through dedicated social work.
