Full Job Description Position Overview:
The Social Emotional Supports Coach is responsible for providing identified support to assigned daycare centers in Palm Beach County. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, educator training, classroom observation, behavior strategy modeling, and leading social skills groups. This position will provide services in the field and requires flexibility with daytime and evening hours to accommodate clients' schedules. Here is what the job involves: Provide educator training, classroom observations, behavior strategy modeling, and social skills groups at assigned childcare centers. Collaborate with childcare centers to develop classroom and school plans based on identified needs. Analyze screening and assessment data to identify needs, risks, and protective factors and recommend appropriate services. Implement evidence-based approaches, including Circle of Security and Conscious Discipline, to support children's social-emotional development. Build strong relationships with teachers, parents, and community partners while providing outreach and support services. Maintain accurate program documentation and data, monitor outcomes, and participate in required trainings, meetings, and supervision.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Psychology or Early Childhood Education or in a related field with 2+ years' experience in behavior management or early childhood classroom support. At least 1 year of experience in a childcare setting or relevant experience required. Schedule includes occasional evening and weekend hours as needed Must be 21 years or older Bilingual English/Creole required. Valid Florida's driver's license is required.
