Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution required Valid state licensure or certification as a school social worker Previous experience in schools or similar educational settings preferred Strong communication and relationship-building abilities Adept at crisis intervention, counseling, and case management Familiarity with creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), 504 plans, and behavioral interventions
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to students facing academic, behavioral, or social challenges Collaborate with teachers, staff, and administration to develop strategies that support student well-being and success Connect students and families with community resources and outside agencies as needed Conduct assessments and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress Offer crisis intervention services and assist with conflict resolution as necessary Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district policies and legal requirements This contract role offers you hands-on experience in a supportive academic environment, allowing you to have a tangible impact on students' lives while growing alongside a dedicated team.
