We are currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Enrollment and Family Services Coordinator. This position is responsible for implementation and continuation of family support services defined by the Head Start Performance Standards and applicable state laws and regulations. This position will recruit and enroll children, develop family relationships, identify and assess needs, and coordinate plans of action for an assigned caseload. The Enrollment & Family Services Coordinator will utilize social service skills to educate and assist families in supporting educational, personal, social, health and vocational concerns/goals. This individual coordinates the social service activities and collaborates with other program coordinators to address the needs of the Head Start Family. A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field is required. OVO is an equal opportunity employer and provider.

Essential Job Functions:

. • Works with state, regional and Federal Head Start personnel to maintain relationships, stay informed of changes and trends ensure compliance with standards and provides staff/parent training and development. • Establish practices to maintain and monitor recruitment processes, eligibility determination, selection, full enrollment, and maintain child attendance along with staff and parents. Adhere to all Personnel Policies, Head Start Program Performance Standards, Program Policies and Procedures and Indiana Childcare Licensing Regulations. Advocate for early childhood education through ensuring quality services to children, families and the community. Be a liaison for the company and program within the community. Work collaboratively with all staff to provide for the needs of the children in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. Utilize, monitor and maintain program databases to accurately track child, family and staff information. Encourage parent and community volunteerism and participate in other activities to generate in-kind. Provide ongoing communication and information sharing with staff and parents. Submit timely, neat and accurate reports with appropriate data. Attend all assigned training and meetings. Oversee implementation of PFCE framework. Ensure delivery and facilitation of Parent Activity Committees and Parent Curriculum Secure and suggest professional development topics and potential trainers. Complete annual ERSEA training and provide ERSEA training for program staff as needed. Serve on the Self-Assessment Team as the lead staff for Parent Family and Community Engagement services. Conduct monthly staffing meetings with management team to discuss service delivery to families enrolled in the program. Monitor all parenting activities and make recommendations to enhance service delivery. Ability to recognize and manage one's own behaviors, moods, and impulses — to create an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming environment within their organizations. Show respect and openness toward someone whose social and cultural background is different from one's own. Recognize that everyone has at least some ethnocentric views that are provided by that culture and shaped by his or her individual interpretation of it.
