Family & Youth Services Case Worker The United Arc - 3.1 West Springfield, MA Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $18.50 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Parental leave Employee assistance program Vision insurance Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Life insurance Referral program Qualifications Computer operation Teamwork High school diploma or GED Driver's License Desktop applications Relationship management Human Services Computer skills Associate's degree Full Job Description Family and Youth Services Case Worker - Bilingual Spanish Speaking Seeking (1) 40 hour position Seeking (1) 20 hour position, Spanish Speaking The United Arc, a leading provider of services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden, Berkshire and Worcester counties of Massachusetts is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual to provide in-home Parent Education and case management for parents living with a functional limitation. The position also includes supervising parent-child visits, transporting child/children to and from supervised visits and facilitation of parent education groups as needed. There will be primary concern for health and safety of individuals and/or families being served, compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing and contracts to ensure quality program and service delivery, safety and security, respect for human rights, care coordination, and community relations. Minimum Qualifications -
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Associates Degree preferred, in Social Work, Human Services or related discipline
  • Two years' experience preferred working with families and individuals with special needs
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking a plus
  • Demonstrated relationship/interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to attend to multiple details within a multi-faceted environment and with diverse populations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computers and computer software applications
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Acceptable CORI, Fingerprinting background check, driver's record check, DPPC Abuser Registry check, and Child Protective Services background check
