With more than 1,400 students from ages 6 months to grade 12, St. Paul's Pre and Lower School (coed), St. Paul's School for Girls, and St. Paul's School for Boys share a 120-acre campus, an Episcopal affiliation, and a focus on developing confident, well balanced students who will use their education and ethics to improve the world. In July 2018, the schools unified under the umbrella of The St. Paul's Schools, with a single board of trustees and one president, but each school retains its individual traditions and its gender-specific programs. A coordinated structure allows The St. Paul's Schools to preserve the small-school feel within each school while sharing resources and certain programs to maximize opportunities for students. With St. Paul's unique model, boys and girls are taught together and separately at just the right times in their development. St. Paul's Pre and Lower School is a coeducational, independent day school serving children from 6 weeks through grade four in two buildings on our Brooklandville campus. As part of The St. Paul's Schools, St. Paul's Pre and Lower School is where our youngest learners begin their academic journey. At St. Paul's, we know that from a young age, by nature, children arrive curious and motivated. Our expert faculty nurture that curiosity through an abundance of enriching, hands-on learning experiences. We believe it is never too early for girls and boys to start adventuring every day. Position Description Do you love the joyful chaos of building forts out of blocks, leading scavenger hunts, helping with math homework, and creating glitter-filled masterpieces? We're looking for a warm, playful, and dependable adult to join our After School Adventures (ASA) team and help make the end of each school day just as engaging as the beginning. What you'll do: Supervise and engage a small group of Lower School students (grades K-4) during after-school hours Support kids with homework, lead games, and foster creativity through arts and crafts or fun projects Play on the playground for open recess time Create a safe, welcoming environment where kids can unwind, play, and connect Collaborate with other aftercare team members to plan activities and routines Partner with ASA team at carpool and communicate positively with our families
