Long-Term Substitute - Social Worker (Multiple Positions)

Job Description

September 2026 to December 2026
Qualifications:
School Social Worker certification required or meet requirements for full or temporary approval from MDE Must have strong behavioral background with an emphasis on creating and implementing behavior plans and functional behavior assessments Strong data analysis experience preferred
Description:
Provide professional development on behavior strategies to teachers and administrators Works with building in behavior support Develops RTI and behavior in strategic planning Takes an active role in the SST at the building level by addressing behavioral needs for all students Supports all at-risk students Knowledge of community mental health agencies Facilitates SEL interventions Referrals to outside agencies Classroom groups Plans for individual students and small groups on targeted skills Regular and consistent attendance
