Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Licensed Social Worker/Therapist to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral care team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, evidence-based therapies, and case management services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges while promoting resilience and well-being. Duties Conduct thorough mental health and behavioral assessments utilizing clinical documentation standards and diagnostic evaluation tools such as
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding systems. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent situations effectively while ensuring patient safety and adhering to clinical confidentiality policies. Coordinate care through case management activities, including intake assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up to ensure continuity of patient care across home, community, and healthcare settings. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in EMR/EHR systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including psychiatrists, medical social workers, educators, and community agencies—to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in clinical research initiatives related to mental health interventions, addiction counseling, PTSD care, autism spectrum disorders, and other specialized areas. Requirements Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or equivalent in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience working with children and families in clinical settings; familiarity with special education and pediatric care is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluation (ICD coding), crisis management, and evidence-based practices such as CPT coding for billing purposes. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), substance use disorders, PTSD, Alzheimer's care, geriatrics, or related fields. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate data collection and medical documentation; understanding of HIPAA regulations is essential. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration across diverse cultural backgrounds. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with compassion while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies at all times.
