Therapist/Social Worker/Associate/QMHP- Winston School Based/In Office

Job Description

This position is primarily based in the Winston School District and has negotiable options for in- office hours as well if desired. Position may be structured to be part time or full time.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, behavioral science, or related field, Current MHACBO eligibility/registration as a QMHP or current Oregon Licensing Board Associate Registration Experience in an educational/school setting is preferred. Must be 21+ and possess valid driver's license Current with all state licensing requirements, including LPC, LCSW and LMFT Newer graduates welcome- in- house supervision available for all license categories Experience Minimum of 1 years of experience in providing outpatient mental health therapy or active graduate level student intern. Experience working with diverse populations and individuals with a range of mental health conditions.
Training/Certificates :
Licensed as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, registered board associate, or equivalent licensure in the state of practice. Graduate student in good standing in practicum or internship coursework in mental health related master's program. Must maintain current licensure and continuing education requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties Clinical Care :
Provide individual and group therapy to a caseload of clients with various mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, collaborating with the client to set goals and monitor progress. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities, to address client needs. Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment options. Attend clinical supervision as required by licensing board and/or as needed for clinical guidance, case consultation or performance improvement.
Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards. Regularly update and complete client treatment records, progress notes, and other required documentation in an electronic medical record system.
Collaboration and Coordination :
Collaborate with other team members, including case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients. Coordinate with individual schools to create student schedules for services for active Juniper Tree clients. Participate in case reviews, treatment planning meetings, and other team activities to provide input on client care, operations, and quality assurance.
Crisis Intervention :
Provide crisis intervention as needed, including assessing risk, creating safety plans, and coordinating with other providers to ensure appropriate follow-up care. Maintain a supportive and safe therapeutic environment for clients. Other Duties as
