Qualifications & Required Experience:
Master's Degree in Social Work Active Pennsylvania State Social Worker License PDE Educational Specialist certification required School-based social work experience, especially with emotional support and behavioral health programs, is beneficial Ability to work onsite with students, families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing social-emotional support and counseling to students in emotional support and partial hospitalization settings or long-term substitute roles Develop, implement, and monitor individualized support plans Collaborate with families, teachers, school administration, and outside providers to support student well-being and educational goals Maintain accurate documentation while adhering to all state and district regulations Assist in crisis intervention and support students navigating challenging circumstances Travel to onsite locations as assigned; candidates should evaluate commute suitability
Role Details:
Two positions: one in an emotional support and hospitalization program (ASAP through June 2027, subject to change); one as a long-term substitute (October 2026-end of January 2027) 35 hours per week, on campus each day This is your chance to support the mental health and academic success of students while working alongside dedicated professionals.
