Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cafeteria, including food preparation areas, serving stations, and dining areas
• Assist with food inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating supplies
• Provide excellent customer service to cafeteria patrons, addressing any questions or concerns
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff
• Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the cafeteria
• Set up and break down serving stations before and after meal periods
• Assist with catering events or special functions as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well within a team and take direction from supervisors
• High School Diploma or GED required
