The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and is committed to providing a safe, engaging, and positive environment where students can learn, play, and thrive after the school day. Responsibilities Supervise elementary-aged students during the after-school program. Assist students with homework and educational activities. Plan and lead age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, and recreational activities. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times. Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program environment. Enforce school and program policies while encouraging positive behavior. Assist with snack distribution and daily attendance procedures. Qualifications Pursuing High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with elementary-aged children is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Dependable, patient, and energetic with a genuine passion for working with children. Ability to pass all required background checks and clearances.
