Your ability to provide gentle, trauma-informed care will be essential in helping students navigate their school day and achieve their potential. Your background in school social work or mental health counseling will be crucial as you assist students in managing their behaviors and develop coping strategies alongside educational staff. Collaborating closely with teachers and other specialists, youll create individualized support plans to promote student well-being and a safe, positive learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:

Professional background as a school social worker, mental health therapist, counselor, or similar role Experience supporting students with PTSD, aggressive behaviors, or tendencies to elope Skill in identifying and de-escalating student triggers related to sensory input (e.g., loud music or sudden sounds) CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification highly preferred Gentle, patient, and highly trained approach to working with high-need students Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:
