Difference Empower Families:
Provide hands-on support and guidance to families facing crises, ensuring they have immediate access to the resources and services they need to thrive.
Champion Rights:
Act as a dedicated advocate for the rights of children and families within the child protective services system. Guide the
Way:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify unique family needs and develop tailored, actionable intervention plans. Connect the
Dots:
Facilitate seamless communication between families and service providers, keeping everyone informed, engaged, and on the same page. Be a
Pillar of Support:
Offer expert crisis intervention services, helping families manage and de-escalate emergencies effectively.
Build Community Networks:
Collaborate with local organizations across Ashland and Hurley to connect families with critical support services, including behavioral health resources.
Educate & Uplift:
Teach families about their rights, responsibilities, and options under family law and child welfare regulations.
Track Success:
Maintain accurate, organized records of family interactions and document their amazing progress toward their goals. What You Bring to the
Table Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is preferred (relevant, impactful experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
Knowledge:
A strong, working understanding of family law, child welfare systems, and modern crisis management practices.
Experience:
Previous experience working with children and families in a social work or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Grace Under Pressure:
Excellent conflict management skills with a proven ability to calmly and effectively de-escalate tense situations.
Resourcefulness:
Familiarity with behavioral health issues and the local community resources available to families in need.
Inclusivity:
The ability to work collaboratively and compassionately with diverse populations while demonstrating strong cultural competence.
Communication:
