Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide comprehensive mental health and behavioral care to diverse client populations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management, with a strong commitment to evidence-based practices. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, the LCSW will deliver individual, group, and family counseling while ensuring adherence to clinical documentation standards and confidentiality policies. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing clinical terminology and standardized tools such as ICD-10 coding systems. Provide evidence-based psychotherapy interventions including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral health strategies tailored to individual needs. Facilitate crisis management and intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral emergencies. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate patient care goals, clinical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with medical professionals on psychiatric patient care, medication management, and psychopharmacology when appropriate. Engage in case management activities such as patient assessment, data collection, and coordination of home or community-based services for clients with disabilities or developmental disorders. Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical records documentation, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and confidentiality policies. Conduct group therapy sessions and provide specialized counseling for populations including children, geriatrics, or individuals with autism or substance use disorders. Participate in clinical research initiatives to support evidence-based practice improvements within behavioral health services. Requirements Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with active certification in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or geriatric populations in clinical settings such as hospitals or community health centers. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, and applied behavior analysis. Familiarity with medical records systems such as EMR/EHR platforms; experience with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9/10 coding systems is preferred. Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, psychiatric patient care protocols, and crisis intervention techniques. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for client engagement, documentation accuracy, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health interventions and familiarity with HIPAA regulations governing patient privacy.
