Job Description

LCSW/LCPC
We are seeking an
LCSW/LCPC
to join our outstanding behavioral health team. We are seeking a full-time therapist (37.5 hours/week). Delivery of in-person counseling preferred, telehealth options as needed.
Job Summary:
The
LCSW/LCPC
is responsible for providing assessment, treatment, planning, and ongoing behavioral health services that include counseling, consultation, community support, group and advocacy services, and crisis intervention. The Behavioral Health Counselor also acts as a resource and consultant to agency staff and the community in general.
Supervisory Relationship:
The
LCSW/LCPC
reports to the Program Director.
Supervises:
This position does not supervise other employees; however, student guidance may be involved when working with students interning at the organization. Benefit opportunities : Medical, Dental, Vision and Life. 401(k) available. Possible Public Service Loan Forgiveness (formerly known as Student Loan Forgiveness) through the State of Illinois.

Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
Minimum Work Experience:
Experience working with all ages in a community setting is highly desirable.
Skills and Abilities:
Assess the client's immediate needs and ensure client's receipt of needed services through personal service or making appropriate referral. Organize and prioritize workload. Capable of performing basic computer skills necessary to utilize electronic consumer records and must be capable of understanding commonly used computer software applications. Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Bi-lingual a plus
