This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical expertise in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management within a supportive environment committed to evidence-based practices. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and support patients through their mental health journeys. Your dedication will help foster positive outcomes and improve quality of life for individuals across all ages and backgrounds. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing clinical terminology and medical records standards. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma, including PTSD care. Develop and document personalized treatment plans while adhering to clinical documentation standards, HIPAA regulations, and medical confidentiality policies. Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, medical social workers, and community agencies to ensure holistic patient support. Collect data for clinical research projects related to behavioral health, substance use disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or developmental disabilities. Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems efficiently for patient documentation, progress notes, and billing using CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 codes. Requirements Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the relevant state or jurisdiction. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with mental health conditions such as developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or substance use disorders. Strong knowledge of mental health interventions including psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, and psychiatric patient care. Experience working in hospital settings or home & community care environments preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, clinical research protocols, and medical terminology essential for accurate documentation and data collection. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver culturally competent care across diverse populations. Excellent communication skills for client engagement, case management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
