Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Peer Recovery Support Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities Provide peer support and mentorship to individuals with substance use disorders, serving as a patient advocate. Share personal recovery experiences to inspire hope and motivate clients toward their goals. Conduct crisis management and intervention when clients are experiencing acute distress or emergencies, utilizing skills in crisis intervention and harm reduction strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized recovery plans that incorporate behavioral health principles and client preferences. Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with privacy laws and organizational policies, ensuring trust and safety. Support clients in accessing community resources, including social services, addiction counseling, mental health programs, and housing assistance. Document interactions accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring timely updates of client progress and service delivery. Requirements Current Peer Recovery Specialist Certification in Arkansas or Missouri Ability to share personal recovery experiences authentically while maintaining professional boundaries. Experience working with culturally diverse communities with sensitivity and respect for individual backgrounds. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage clients and collaborate with team members. Proven ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions. Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation purposes. Pay:
