Behavioral Health/Substance Use Residential Treatment Position Summary The clinician completes intake assessments, individualized treatment plans, individual counseling sessions, group therapy, progress reviews, and discharge planning for clients receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment. Essential Duties Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial intake assessments. Assess psychiatric symptoms, substance use, medical history, trauma, safety risks, functional needs, strengths, and treatment goals. Complete mental status examinations, risk assessments, diagnostic impressions, and ASAM evaluations when applicable. Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals, objectives, and clinical interventions. Review and update treatment plans according to required timelines. Provide at least one individual counseling session per client weekly or as required by the treatment plan. Facilitate structured therapy and psychoeducational groups. Address relapse prevention, triggers, coping skills, emotional regulation, trauma, communication, life skills, and recovery planning. Monitor and document each client's participation, clinical response, progress, and ongoing needs. Complete intake assessments, treatment plans, individual notes, group notes, staffing notes, risk assessments, and discharge summaries accurately and on time. Participate in clinical staffing, care coordination, crisis intervention, and discharge planning. Communicate significant psychiatric, medical, behavioral, or safety concerns immediately. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with
HIPAA, 42 CFR
Part 2, licensing requirements, payer standards, and organizational policies. Minimum Qualifications Active Arizona LISAC, LPC, LAC, or LMSW credential. Master's degree in counseling, social work, addiction counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Experience completing clinical assessments, treatment plans, individual counseling, and group therapy. Knowledge of DSM diagnostic criteria, ICD-10-CM coding, substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and crisis assessment. Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. Current CPR, First Aid, and tuberculosis clearance. Ability to complete accurate and timely electronic clinical documentation. Supervision Requirement All clinicians must provide services within their education, training, competence, licensure, and authorized scope of practice. Preferred Experience Behavioral Health Residential Facility or substance use residential treatment experience. Experience with ASAM criteria and AHCCCS documentation requirements. Training in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and relapse prevention.

$2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
