1099 independent contractor arrangement available. Overview We are seeking a compassionate, independently licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our supportive outpatient clinical team in Show Low, AZ. The ideal candidate has experience providing evidence-based therapy to individuals and families. This clinician will conduct diagnostic assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, maintain timely clinical documentation, and coordinate care with internal and external providers. This position offers a flexible hours workweek, competitive salary, sign-on bonus, productivity incentives, and W-2 benefits. A 1099 independent contractor option is also available who prefer greater scheduling flexibility. Responsibilities Build positive, therapeutic, and trusting relationships with patients. Provide individual and family therapy using evidence-based practices. Conduct diagnostic assessments and evaluate patients' clinical histories and treatment needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals. Complete accurate and timely treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation. Monitor patient progress and make appropriate adjustments to treatment plans. Participate in case consultations, clinical discussions, and team meetings. Coordinate care with internal team members and external healthcare providers. Requirements Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field. Active independent Arizona license, including
LPC, LCSW, LMFT.
Outpatient or community mental health experience is preferred. Bilingual skills are a plus. LPC supervisory certification or eligibility is a plus. Sign-On Bonus $3,000 sign-on bonus paid in installments at 90 and 180 days. The bonus must be repaid if the clinician leaves the position within 18 months. Productivity Bonus $12 for each billable hour completed above the 28-billable-hours-per-week threshold. Sustaining 30 billable hours per week provides approximately $1,250 annually above base salary. Sustaining 32 billable hours per week provides approximately $2,500 annually above base salary. W-2 Benefits $400 continuing education stipend $350 toward Arizona license renewal Malpractice insurance covered under the organization's group policy Paid sick leave Arizona BBHE supervisory track for LPCs with 3+ years of post-licensure experience, with additional compensation 401(k) eligibility beginning in the second year of employment 1099 Independent Contractor Option for LPCs 65/35 revenue split in the clinician's favor Clinician independently sets their own schedule No employee benefits, paid time off, or sign-on bonus Clinician is responsible for maintaining their own malpractice insurance Suitable for independently licensed LPCs who prefer scheduling flexibility over W-2 employment stability
