Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking energetic and compassionate Support Staff to join our PHP/IOP Substance Use and Mental Health Treatment Center at Carlsbad Beach Recovery. In this role you will assist with the daily operations of the treatment center, have direct client care, complete intakes, collect urinary drug analysis, complete administrative work, and help everything run smoothly. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals. Responsibilities Complete intakes and provide an orientation for clients Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety during challenging situations Assist with daily operations of treatment center Provide direct client care Administrative work Cleaning the office Collect urinary drug analysis Engage with clients through therapeutic activities, social work principles, and client communication strategies tailored to individual needs Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when managing electronic health records (EHR) and medical documentation Skills knowledge/experience working in mental health or substance use settings preferred Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while providing patient care in high-pressure environments RADT or SUDRC certification preferred Join us in making a positive impact by supporting individuals on their journey toward recovery. Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 30.0 per week
