We are looking for someone to rent a room at our facility It's $500 per month- must have own client's. In this vital role, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals across diverse age groups, including children, adolescents, and families. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals. As a Therapist, you will play a key role in fostering a supportive environment that promotes healing, resilience, and overall well-being. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations to understand clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-specific interventions, play therapy, art therapy, and motivational interviewing. Implement behavioral health strategies including applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and crisis intervention to support clients with developmental disabilities or trauma histories. Collect and maintain accurate clinical documentation, including medical records, progress notes, treatment plans, and case management reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, provide case management services, and facilitate communication with clients' families or caregivers from diverse cultural backgrounds. Conduct mental health and behavioral care assessments for individuals experiencing PTSD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or other disabilities; adjust interventions accordingly. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in social work, psychotherapy, addiction counseling, and cultural diversity counseling. Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field; licensure or certification as required by state law. Proven experience working with children and youth in mental health or community care settings. Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), trauma-specific interventions, and crisis management techniques. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and electronic health record systems compliant with HIPAA regulations. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with developmental disabilities or mental health conditions. Excellent client communication skills along with the ability to conduct intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
