This role involves working closely with families and children to promote safety, stability, and well-being through comprehensive support services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child welfare, social work, and crisis intervention, with a passion for helping families navigate complex challenges. Duties Provide case management and support to families involved in child protective services or child welfare programs Conduct assessments to identify family needs, strengths, and risks Develop individualized family plans to promote safety, permanency, and well-being Offer crisis intervention and management during emergency or high-stress situations involving children or families Facilitate communication between families, social service agencies, legal entities, and community resources Assist families with navigating family law issues and accessing childcare or behavioral health services Monitor progress of family plans and adjust interventions as needed Educate families on conflict management, behavioral health strategies, and available community resources Document case activities accurately and maintain confidentiality in accordance with agency policies Experience Prior experience working with children in child protective services, child welfare, or social work settings is highly desirable Strong background in crisis intervention and crisis management techniques Knowledge of family law, childcare practices, behavioral health issues, and conflict management strategies Experience with behavioral health assessments and interventions preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with diverse families Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and cultural competence Previous experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment is advantageous This position is integral to supporting vulnerable families through compassionate service delivery while ensuring safety and promoting positive outcomes for children.
