Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will deliver evidence-based mental health services, including psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, and crisis intervention, to individuals of diverse backgrounds. Your expertise will help foster recovery, resilience, and growth for our patients across outpatient and inpatient settings. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to ensure accurate treatment planning Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA) Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to support patients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral crises Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices like motivational interviewing, social work principles, and behavior management strategies Document all patient interactions thoroughly in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate case management efforts for patients with complex needs including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, addiction issues, or developmental disabilities Engage in clinical research activities when applicable to enhance treatment approaches and contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives Experience Proven experience in psychotherapy or clinical counseling within outpatient or inpatient settings Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical records management Hands-on experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics or individuals with disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder or developmental delays Strong background in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care including PTSD care, grief counseling, and substance use disorder treatment Knowledge of telehealth platforms and delivering services remotely is preferred Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Prior experience in hospital or clinic environments is advantageous Join us to be part of a compassionate team committed to transforming lives through innovative mental health care. Pay:
$30.00 - $34.00 per hour
