This position involves working closely with children and their families to promote well-being, ensure safety, and facilitate access to necessary services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in child welfare and crisis intervention, demonstrating a commitment to supporting families through challenging situations. Responsibilities Conduct assessments to identify the needs of families and children. Develop and implement individualized service plans that address specific family dynamics. Provide crisis intervention and management support during emergencies. Collaborate with child protective services and other community organizations to ensure comprehensive care. Facilitate access to resources such as behavioral health services, childcare, and social work support. Maintain accurate documentation of family interactions, progress, and service outcomes. Educate families on their rights under family law and available community resources. Mediate conflicts within families to promote healthy communication and resolution strategies. Experience Proven experience working with children in various capacities, including childcare or educational settings. Familiarity with child protective services and the child welfare system. Strong skills in crisis intervention and management, with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Background in social work or related fields is highly desirable. Knowledge of conflict management techniques to effectively address family disputes. Understanding of behavioral health issues affecting children and families.
