June 30, 2026 Employment Type Full-Time @37.5 Hours Job Description Join our growing Behavioral Health team and help our clinic provide behavioral health services to our local community! The Therapist (licensed) will provide a broad spectrum of clinical services including but not limited to intake, diagnosis, therapy, coordination of behavioral health services for consumers, referrals to other clinic services, consultation, case management, community outreach, psychological assessments, clinical supervision, and in-service trainings. The Therapist (licensed) will work under their own license and will be capable of providing supervision to unlicensed Therapists when needed. The Therapist (licensed) will provide back-up to the Behavioral Health Director in the clinic. The Therapist (licensed) will perform other training and job-related activities as needed. Responsibilities Assess patients and diagnose mental health issues Provides individual, family and group therapy from ages 4 to end of life Provide culturally relevant interventions and treatment planning Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning Provide in-service training to Primary Care Clinic staff and trainees as appropriate Participate in agency-wide training programs and in-services Document in the electronic health record according to requirements of regulatory agencies Schedule all client appointments on an ongoing basis Maintain timely confidential records Submit progress notes and other documentation on a timely basis Participate in quality improvement committees and other agency meetings as requested Other duties as assigned Requirements Master of Social Work, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology or Doctorate degree from an accredited university Current California certification/license Bilingual is a plus (Spanish/Chinese) 2 years direct client experience preferred in the last 5 years Current CPR/BLS certification Experience working with children and families Strong verbal and written communication skills and Interpersonal skills Proficient using Microsoft Office [Word/Excel/Outlook] Commitment to the mission and values of Davis Street Benefits Eligible Compensation $100,000.00 - $105,000.00/Year Location 100% In-person, San Leandro
