About Us Evergreen Counseling and Wellness is a boutique group practice in Evergreen, Colorado. Couples therapy, individual relationship therapy, and discernment counseling are our specialty. We are rooted in compassion, integrity, and connection, and we work to be as good an employer to our clinicians as we are a practice for our clients. Position Overview We're currently hiring a part-time psychotherapist with a strong interest in couples therapy to provide a mix of in-person and online sessions in our Evergreen office. This position is ideal for a therapist who: Loves working with couples (or is eager to build that skillset), Wants support and training in an evidence-based couples model Would rather focus on clinical work than run a practice Wants every hour of their work compensated What We Offer Competitive compensation $75 to $135 per clinical hour , based on license level, experience, and training $30 per hour for all non-clinical time — documentation, supervision, training, team meetings, consultation calls, and community outreach. No unpaid meetings, and no unpaid administrative work Administrative support — your schedule, client communications, and billing are handled for you Marketing led by the practice. Bringing couples into the practice is our responsibility. You'll support those efforts for one to two paid hours each week, with clear direction and guidance. Full Gottman Method training, paid. Level 1 is part of your paid orientation and completed before your first session; Level 2 follows once you are seeing clients. We cover the course fees and compensate every training hour. Clinicians who have already completed a level receive credit for it Weekly clinical supervision for as long as you are here, not only during licensure Office time reserved for sessions. When your last couple leaves, your day is done — documentation and administrative work are completed remotely A light-filled, fully furnished office just off Highway 74, with free parking and refreshments for your clients Paid sick leave , and employer-paid payroll taxes, unemployment insurance, and workers' compensation All practice overhead covered W-2 employment , part-time, built for 12 to 15 client hours per week Key Responsibilities Provide Gottman Method couples therapy and individual relationship therapy, in person at our Evergreen office on Thursday evenings and Fridays Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans appropriate to couples and relational work Take consultation calls with prospective clients and help them determine whether we are the right fit Utilize telehealth platforms for remote counseling sessions when appropriate Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and professional standards Attend weekly clinical supervision and team consultation Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities Offer crisis intervention and management to clients in distress Participate in growing your caseload alongside the practice — roughly one to two hours a week of paid time connecting with referral partners and contributing to your professional profile, with the practice leading and supporting the work Uphold high clinical and ethical standards Who This Is For You want couples work at the center of your practice, and you are excited to learn. This is the work you want to build real skill in. You want training in an evidence-based model. We practice the Gottman Method. It is the structure underneath the clinical work here, and it is what we will train you in from Level 1 forward. You want to be part of a team. Your calendar, your client communications, the marketing, the overhead, and the cost of your training are carried by the practice. Your energy goes into clinical work and a small number of referral relationships. You are reliable, and you ask for what you need. You are present for the couples on your calendar. You take consultation calls and get better at them over time. Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field Licensed in Colorado , either fully (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist) or provisionally (LSW, LPCC, MFT Candidate) Available for in-person sessions in Evergreen, Colorado on Thursday evenings and Fridays, and for telehealth sessions Genuine interest in couples work , and willingness to train in and practice the Gottman Method Willing to complete Gottman Level 1 during orientation and Level 2 thereafter Comfortable speaking with prospective clients by phone Willing to work within a private-pay practice, including discussing fees with prospective clients Able to keep clinical documentation current and compliant Comfortable with, or willing to learn, Google Workspace and SimplePractice Provisionally licensed therapists are encouraged to apply.
