Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Fluent in Spanish Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help individuals navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges through evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering client-centered therapy in both outpatient and telehealth settings, ensuring accessible mental health support for all. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and clinical evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to accurately diagnose and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, and art or dance therapy as appropriate. Implement evidence-based interventions including motivational interviewing, behavior management techniques, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and crisis intervention strategies to support clients through acute and chronic challenges. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management protocols, ensuring safety and stabilization for clients experiencing trauma or severe mental health episodes. Document all clinical interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, case management efforts, and medical documentation while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to clinical ethical guidelines. Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health counseling, psychopharmacology updates, ICD coding changes, and telehealth therapy advancements. Experience Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Demonstrated expertise in providing psychotherapy across various settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, or hospital environments. Strong background in crisis management, trauma-informed care—including PTSD care—and working with co-occurring disorders such as addiction or mental health conditions. Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses and treatment planning; experience working within clinical documentation standards is essential. Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for clinical counseling sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes is a plus. Ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments using diagnostic evaluation tools; experience working with individuals experiencing grief or chronic pain is advantageous. $37.61 - $45.30 per hour
