Health insurancePaid time off This center is a dually licensed, Mental Health and Substance Use treatment program located in Palm Beach, FL. This center is seeking part time-per diem, Group Facilitators, to join our multi-dynamic team. As a Group Facilitator, you will be responsible for leading therapeutic group sessions and providing support to individuals in a clinical setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. The ideal Group Facilitator is empathetic and knows appropriate boundaries, they have passion for helping others in recovery, they have knowledge of DSM 5 and 12 steps, and they can demonstrate multicultural competency in the workplace. Group Facilitators will be responsible for running mental health, substance use and/or dual diagnosis groups during the week. Schedule Monday-Saturday, 9:00-4:00 pm
Education and Experience:
1+ years' experience as a group facilitator in Substance Abuse and Mental Health settingsMasters Degree in human services field, licensed preferred.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience in behavioral health or addiction treatment. Skilled in group dynamics, documentation, and trauma-informed care. Dependable, professional, and culturally competent, ability to work a flexible, per diem schedule
Preferred:
Experience in a residential or outpatient rehab setting. Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria
Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct group sessions on topics relating to substance use and mental healthDocument group progress notes with accurate and factual informationCommunicates effectively with all departments regarding client issuesUtilize cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help individuals develop coping strategiesDemonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skillsFacilitate discussions and activities to promote emotional healing and personal growthDemonstrates professionalism from adhering to dress code to interactions with team membersComplies with company policies and procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.
Communicates with the clinical director as needed to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas and or improving servicesImplement crisis intervention techniques when necessary to ensure the safety of participantsHas effective time management skillsResponsible to complete all group notes in a timely mannerMaintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
