Full Job Description Qualifications:

Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy (or the equivalent) from an accredited university or college in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, or related human service with a minimum of 2 year of experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with serious emotional disturbances, trauma, abuse, and substance use. Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Therapy. Clinical experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents and adults (families). Group counseling preferred. Valid Florida driver's license. Safe driving record. Proof of automobile liability insurance. Bilingual preferred not required

General Job Description:

Provides support and counseling intervention to children, adolescents and families. Facilitates individual, group, and family therapy sessions using

CBT, TF-CBT, SFBT, MI

techniques. Completes psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, safety plans, and goal reviews as required by contract. Reports child abuse as required and notifies supervisor. Experience with the juvenile justice system. This job description is intended to describe the nature and level of work performed in this position.
