Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Intern or eligible to become registered Masters Level School Counselor to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will provide mental health counseling services and support to students, fostering their academic success, emotional well-being, and personal development in school settings. Your expertise will help create a nurturing environment where every student feels valued, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students from diverse backgrounds. Free supervision towards licensure is provided. Duties Deliver individual and group counseling sessions focused on behavioral health, and social-emotional development. Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators to develop individualized treatment plans for students facing challenges. Implement behavioral management strategies and counseling techniques to promote positive student conduct and emotional well-being. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information related to student welfare and legal compliance. Conduct assessments related to childhood development, adolescent behavior, and cultural diversity to inform support strategies. Ensure adherence to documentation requirements while providing culturally responsive counseling services. Experience Proven experience working with children and adolescents in educational or outpatient mental health settings. Strong background in special education, behavioral health, social work, or mental health counseling. Skilled in conflict management, behavior guidance, and crisis intervention techniques. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, mental health professionals, and community agencies. Excellent communication skills with the capacity to handle confidential information sensitively. Familiarity with childhood development stages, adolescent psychology, and cultural diversity counseling practices.
Pay:
$32.00 - $36.00 per hour
