Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Licensed Therapist — Windermere, FL We're looking for an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT to join our outpatient mental health practice in Windermere, Florida . This is a 1099 independent contractor position with a hybrid schedule: Primarily virtual/telehealth appointments Availability to see in-person clients in our Windermere office approximately once per week, as needed Hourly compensation Flexible scheduling No benefits provided (contract position) We're looking for a licensed clinician who is compassionate, dependable, and comfortable providing both virtual and in-person therapy. Duties Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Provide individual, group, or family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of all client interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate care. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies at all times. Foster a safe, welcoming environment that encourages open communication and trust among clients. Experience Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (e.g., LMHC, LCPC, LCSW) in the relevant jurisdiction. Prior experience providing mental health counseling in clinical or community settings is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic interventions, and crisis management techniques. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations. Familiarity with electronic health record systems for documentation purposes. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
