Job Description

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a health and human services related field; OR Specialized Counseling Certification (CCMHC, CADC, MAC); OR Trauma and Crisis Certification (CCTP, ACTP); OR Modality Specific Certification (CCBT, DBT-C, MBSR-T, CHC) Responsibilities Create a safe and supportive environment to facilitate psychotherapy group sessions, ensuring clients feel comfortable sharing and engaging in open dialogue. Manage group dynamics and promotes active listening to ensure that all clients feel heard. Facilitate discussion throughout group therapy sessions while employing behavioral therapy techniques to support client mental health and well-being. Offer support and guidance to clients, helping them navigate challenges and achieve their therapeutic goals. Conduct patient assessments to tailor therapeutic approaches, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and medical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans, focusing on crisis intervention and client care. Document sessions in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system according to regulatory requirements and practice standards. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health practices.
