Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD/Psychologist) 1099 Independent Contractor - Full-Time or Part-time Suncrest Psychological Services West Lafayette, Indiana Position Overview Are you passionate about helping people heal from trauma while working alongside a team that truly understands the unique challenges faced by first responders? Suncrest Psychological Services is seeking a compassionate, highly motivated licensed mental health clinician to join our growing practice as a full-time 1099 Independent Contractor. This position offers the opportunity to build a rewarding clinical practice while working with one of Indiana's leading providers of trauma-informed care for first responders, public safety professionals, and the communities they serve. About Suncrest Psychological Services Suncrest Psychological Services specializes in evidence-based mental health treatment with an emphasis on trauma, PTSD, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Our clinicians provide services to individuals, couples, families, and organizations throughout Indiana. We proudly specialize in serving first responders, including law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, dispatchers, corrections professionals, healthcare workers, military members, and veterans. In addition to outpatient therapy, we provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services, consultation, training, and support to agencies across 29 Indiana counties. Responsibilities
  • Provide individual psychotherapy
  • Provide couples counseling (preferred)
  • Deliver trauma-focused treatment for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and insomnia
  • Provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counseling
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with the clinical team
  • Participate in consultation and professional development (provided weekly on site)
  • Provide CISD-style debriefing after traumatic events
  • Participate in ride alongs with police, fire, EMS, jail settings and dispatch yearly Preferred Experience
  • Trauma-informed care
  • PTSD treatment
  • First responder mental health
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • EMDR (preferred)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)
  • Couples therapy (preferred)
  • Crisis intervention
  • Public safety culture
  • Willing to be trained in all above treatments, with supervision. Qualifications
  • Indiana LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD)
  • Current unrestricted Indiana license
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Strong clinical and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
