Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insights into patients' unique experiences, challenges, and backgrounds. Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions that consider cultural and personal nuances. Provide one-on-one, family, and group therapy sessions that aim to enhance mental resilience and coping strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. Offer immediate crisis intervention and mental health support, demonstrating calm and effective techniques during emergencies. Qualifications A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Possession of a current and valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas. Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies with a focus on cultural competency. Demonstrated experience delivering therapeutic services to a varied demographic, utilizing inclusive and culturally responsive methods. Strong crisis intervention capabilities, with a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations. Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, adept at establishing rapport with diverse populations.
