Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning, to diverse populations across outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth settings. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges, fostering resilience and recovery through evidence-based practices. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, child & family counseling, and youth therapy sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and evidence-based practices. Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention protocols to ensure client safety during acute episodes. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards, including progress notes, medical records, and EMR/EHR documentation. Utilize telehealth platforms to provide remote therapy sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and clinical ethical guidelines. Engage in case management activities such as patient care coordination, follow-up assessments, and support for co-occurring disorders. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize client outcomes through integrated care approaches involving social work principles, medical terminology understanding, and behavioral health expertise. Skills Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavior management. Strong knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9 & ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation. Skilled in crisis intervention, crisis management, and de-escalation strategies across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and those experiencing PTSD or chronic pain. Excellent clinical documentation skills adhering to healthcare standards for medical records and clinical notes. Experience working with telehealth platforms ensuring HIPAA compliance and effective remote patient engagement. Ability to conduct mental health assessments using evidence-based practices while demonstrating cultural competence in serving diverse client backgrounds. Familiarity with medical terminology related to psychopharmacology, ICD coding for diagnoses, and treatment planning within behavioral health settings.
