Mental Health Clinician

Job Description

Complete clinical assessments, treatment, case management, consultation, referral and education according to the individual's professional discipline. Services shall be provided in accordance with the established Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Addiction Services and Joint Commission Standards as well as within the scope of practice of the individual. Conduct psychosocial evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling to individuals, groups and families as needed. Provide diagnostic assessment, treatment planning and complete necessary updates as required. Facilitate treatment groups and carry a caseload for individual treatment sessions Provide individual, family, and group service appropriate to client needs. Attend staff meetings; participate in clinical supervision, and other activities, which ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations. Maintain positive relationships with referral sources and aftercare providers. Coordinate with Elevate Recovery Center staff and other community providers in providing joint treatment as reflected in the treatment plan. Prepare needed reports of treatment as requested. Develop ongoing treatment plans through case staffing with the treatment team and interaction with assigned clients' caseloads. Maintain client records to reflect the course of treatment and provide required documentation. Provide aftercare planning, coordinate with clients around all services. Provide consultation and education service to individual and community groups as requested and possible. Participate in agency program development activities. Keep current with trends and developments related to essential job competencies. Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor, Program Director or the Executive Director.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, counseling or equivalent social services field. Licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and/or Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor-I (LADC-I). Attend regular professional education classes/workshops to continuously upgrade job skills or promote the image of the agency.

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
