Job Description

Are you high energy, a team player, enjoy teaching, and are caring and compassionate? Come join our team at Timberlyn Heights as a Neuro Behavioral Specialist. Bachelors degree preferred in fields related to Psych, Social Sciences, Mental Health, Human Services and Education or related field accepted and welcomed! Associate Degree with 2-5 years experience working with individuals in behavioral health or long term care required.

Responsibilities:

Ability to communicate with individuals who have mental health or emotional issues Offer assistance to individuals with substance use issues Provide prevention-oriented education Ability to motivate Review and implement treatment plans Collaborate with Timberlyn Heights interdisciplinary treatment team Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner

Qualifications:

Ability to build rapport with residents Strong leadership skills Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related field Familiarity with community mental health resources Excellent written and verbal communications skills Adept at having fun Self starter
