Part Time Qualified Mental Health Professional Duplin County Jail | North Carolina Mental Health Services | 8 Hours Per Week Onsite Coverage Required Part Time Bring Your Mental Health Expertise Where It Matters Most. Southern Health Partners is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to provide onsite mental health services at the Duplin County Jail in North Carolina. This is a great opportunity for a Psychiatric RN, Social Worker, or Counselor who wants to provide meaningful behavioral health support in a correctional healthcare environment. What You'll Do Provide onsite mental health services to patients within the facility Complete mental health assessments and identify behavioral health needs Provide counseling, support, and appropriate interventions Monitor patients and recognize changes in mental health status Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare professionals Develop and support individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Assist with crisis intervention and mental health referrals as appropriate Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all applicable policies and procedures What We're Looking For Qualified candidates may include: Psychiatric RN Licensed Counselor Social Worker Additional qualifications include: Current, unrestricted professional license or credentials applicable to the position Mental health or behavioral health experience preferred Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Commitment to providing compassionate, professional mental health care Must be able to provide onsite coverage at the facility Part Time Benefits Bi-Weekly Direct Deposit 401(k) After 1 Year Employee Assistance Program Monthly CE Hours Tuition Discounts Safe Work Environment Referral Bonus Company-Paid Professional Liability Insurance Why Southern Health Partners?
