Veterans Available Part-Time Shifts:
Tuesday-Saturday (Tuesday-Frida y 4pm-10pm /
Saturday :
2pm-10pm) -32 hrs/week
Saturday & Sunday :
2pm-10pm Providing residential support services to veterans in the program. Job Responsibilities Provide supportive counseling and crisis intervention to veterans as needed. Monitor residents and encourage proper housekeeping and upkeep of the residence. Transport veterans in a company vehicle when necessary. Help maintain a safe, clean, and secure living environment for all residents. Assist with drug and alcohol screenings. Complete accurate and timely service documentation and clinical records. Assist with fire and life safety procedures, including fire drills and resident education. Distribute resident mail as needed. Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, behavioral crises, fire/smoke events, police involvement, and First Aid/AED situations, following agency policies and procedures. Maintain and review required program logs, including communication, resident sign-in, medication sign-in, and pass authorization logs, and report concerns or policy violations to the Program Coordinator. Participate in regular supervision meetings with the Program Coordinator.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in Mental Health or a related discipline; or Licensed R.N.; or two years of college plus two years of related work or life experience, or licensed as a Practical Nurse (LPN) plus two years of related mental health experience; or a High School diploma and four years of related mental health experience. Must possess a valid driver's license, with a good driving record. VEVRAA Federal Contractor. Request Priority Protected Veteran Referral.
