Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our multidisciplinary inpatient SUD treatment team. In this fast-paced residential environment, you will manage a dedicated caseload of adult clients navigating acute stabilization and early recovery. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, facilitating daily evidence-based group therapy sessions, providing individual counseling, and formulating actionable discharge plans. Schedule Availability We are looking for team members for the 8AM-4:30PM shift. To keep our operations running smoothly, we offer several 5-day schedules that include weekend coverage:
Tuesday-Saturday Sunday-Thursday Thursday-Monday Wednesday-Sunday Responsibilities:
Deliver Evidence-Based Therapy:
Provide high-quality clinical counseling utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to support clients in achieving sobriety and building sustainable coping skills.
Facilitate Group Therapy:
Lead psychoeducational and process groups focusing on early recovery, relapse prevention, emotional regulation, and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Conduct Comprehensive Assessments:
Perform thorough psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic reviews to determine substance dependency severity, mental health status, and appropriateness for detox/residential levels of care.
Manage Client Caseloads:
Oversee a dedicated caseload within a detox and/or residential setting, ensuring continuous, high-quality care from admission through discharge.
Design Individualized Treatment Plans:
Develop, implement, and dynamically update measurable, client-centered treatment and discharge plans in alignment with clinical goals.
Coordinate Aftercare & Discharge:
Facilitate seamless transitions of care by connecting clients with appropriate outpatient services, community resources, and sober living arrangements to support long-term recovery.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Partner seamlessly with medical staff, psychiatrists, case managers, and residential support to ensure holistic, coordinated care and a safe therapeutic environment.
Maintain Regulatory Documentation:
Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation (including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries) in strict compliance with state regulations, joint commission/accreditation standards, and federal guidelines (e.g., 42 CFR Part 2). Engage in
Professional Development:
Actively participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, clinical supervision, and staff meetings to optimize program efficacy and clinical growth.
Experience, Education & Skills:
Education:
Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution, preferred.
Licensure:
Valid state licensure: LPC, LSW, LAC, LCSW, or LCADC.
Clinical Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy in a substance abuse treatment setting. Experience with co-occurring disorders preferred.
Communication:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to build rapport with clients and work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
