Vincent's Hospital Westchester - 3.0 Harrison, NY Job Details Per diem $27 - $29 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications Mental health stabilization Clinical crisis intervention assessment Referral services for crisis intervention support Experience working with trauma survivors Mid-level Community resource coordination in health services social work Outpatient experience 3 years Psychological support for patients Mental health resources facilitation Emotional support for patients Client referral services Working with families Psychiatric disorder emergency response Patient interaction Training Referral coordination Community outreach case management method Supportive counseling Full Job Description Per Diem Crisis Therapist Support Counselor assists Crisis Therapist with all concrete and supportive services related to referrals and contacts with patients, families, people we collaborate with, including but not limited to outreach, crisis calls, supportive counseling, ensuring linkages, networking with referral sources, engagement and transitional visits to ensure stabilization, monitoring referrals, Strong background in outpatient mental health. The ability to work with challenging patients and families within the community. Ability to make quick assessments, manage emergencies as they arise, provide training and counseling as needed to patients, families and community agencies. Ability to manage stress and impact of vicarious trauma. Good working knowledge of resources within the community a plus. Minimum work experience, two-three years clinical experience. Mobile Crisis team requiring work in the community at various types of locations.
