09/07/2026 Job Description Job Description Position Summary Talk It Out Mental Health Counseling PLLC is seeking Mental Health Counselors who are completing their education or are working toward licensure. In this role, you will provide counseling, psychotherapy, and talk therapy to clients with mild to moderate mental health conditions. Responsibilities include evaluating mental health status, developing care plans, and identifying when more advanced care is needed. Supervision will be provided, and you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Position Responsibilities Receive and assess client referrals to evaluate their mental health conditions. Provide counseling and psychotherapy using approved techniques and interventions. Formulate diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs. Address urgent mental health conditions and make referrals for more intensive care when necessary. Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure HIPAA compliance. Maintain a caseload of contracted numbers of clients. Collaborate effectively with the clinical team and other professionals in managing client care. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about best practices and evolving approaches. Qualifications Pursuing or possessing a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or a related field. Current NYS licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LMSW, or Limited Permit). At least one year of experience in mental health counseling (preferred). Ability to interact professionally with clients from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in using electronic systems for client case management and documentation.

Accumulation of Clinical hours, MHC-LP, or licensing and experience

Schedule:

Must work in-person a minimum of 1 evening and one weekend day
