Location:

Amherst, NY Tranquil Waters Counseling is currently seeking full-time, fully licensed clinicians (LCSW-R, LCSW, LMHC-D, or LMHC) to join our growing private group practice at our Amherst location.

Position Highlights:

Compensation:

Paid per session, or open to discuss salaried compensation

Schedule:

Flexible Combination of in-person and telehealth sessions One or more remote workdays per week offered Minimum of two evening shifts per week required due to client demand (last scheduled at 6 or 7pm) Expectation of twenty-five client sessions per week

Requirements:

Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling Full NYS licensure required to practice in New York State (LCSW-R, LCSW, LMHC-D, or LMHC) Three years of related experience in an outpatient mental health setting Experience diagnosing a range of mental health and/or substance use disorders is preferred

Clinician Responsibilities:

1. Develop Treatment Plans Create comprehensive, goal-oriented treatment plans based on client needs identified during the assessment process and biopsychosocial evaluations. 2. Manage Caseload Maintain an active caseload of clients, providing consistent and effective, evidence-based therapeutic services. 3. Documentation and Recordkeeping Ensure timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation and maintenance of client records in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
