About us: We are a busy, small private practice dedicated to providing individualized, compassionate care for each of our clients. We serve adolescents, teens, and adults (ages 13 and up) in a calm and peaceful environment designed to support growth and healing. Our practice is proud to serve Bay Village and the surrounding communities, offering a safe space where clients can explore their concerns and find the support they need. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated
LPC/LPCC
who specializes in trauma therapy, preferably EMDR , to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an independent license and will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to individuals facing various mental health challenges. This role involves working with clients both in-person and virtually, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques to promote mental well-being and personal growth. This can be a hybrid position. Please visit us at www.jareedcounseling.com Responsibilities Conduct intake assessments to determine clients' diagnoses and needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Treat both adults and adolescents. Knowledge of the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM). Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes. Participate in licensure and work supervision. Stay informed about the latest research in mental health practices to enhance service delivery. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Skills Basic knowledge of professional counseling practice with emphasis on human development principles through cognitive, affective, behavioral, or systemic interventions, and strategies that address high-risk behaviors, wellness, and personal growth, across the life span. Knowledge of treatment modalities for children and adolescents. Knowledge and understanding of the APA ethical code. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation. Compassionate approach with a commitment to client-centered care.
