Qualifications:
Must possess a license, registration, and/or certification relevant to the field. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a mental health field (e.g. art therapy, recreational therapy, counseling, social work, or music therapy). Proficiency in providing mental health care based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate criteria. Familiarity with DSM-V diagnosis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with diverse team members.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
Full-time position requiring availability for day shifts, evening shifts, weekdays, rotating weekends, and holidays. Salary range of $27.25/hr ($56K) to $37.53/hr ($77K) based on experience level. Comprehensive benefits package included.
Responsibilities:
Conduct therapy assessments and provide group and individual therapy to inpatient psychiatric patients of different age groups. Accurately and timely complete documentation. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and delegate tasks as necessary. Collaborate in Outpatient Behavioral Health and conduct group therapy sessions as required. Provide behavioral health and substance use disorder therapies in coordination with a multi-disciplinary team. Opportunities to work with diverse client populations in various behavioral health settings. Receive training in Crisis Prevention Intervention and Aggression Management System. Ensure workplace safety through the support of Public Safety and Real Time Locating System.
