Job Summary The Recovery Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery from addiction and mental health challenges. This position involves providing compassionate care, guidance, and support to clients in various settings, including residential facilities and community-based programs. The Recovery Specialist will work closely with clients to develop personalized recovery plans, facilitate group sessions, and ensure a safe and supportive environment. Duties Provide direct support to clients in their recovery process, fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Conduct assessments and develop individualized recovery plans tailored to each client's needs. Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary, addressing immediate concerns effectively. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and any incidents that occur during care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and resources for clients. Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive outcomes for clients. Stay informed about best practices in addiction counseling, home community care, and behavioral health. Qualifications Certification as a Certified Recovery Specialist through the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, outside resources, and team members effectively. Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and understanding towards individuals facing challenges related to addiction and mental health. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about helping others achieve their recovery goals while maintaining professionalism and adherence to ethical standards within the field of behavioral health.

$15.50 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
