Position Summary Katie's Way is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), or similarly licensed mental health professional to join our team in Killeen, TX . The Mental Health Therapist will provide outpatient counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, military members, veterans, and families. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care and measurable outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide individual, family, and group therapy services Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Behavioral Therapy Solution-Focused Therapy Trauma-Informed Care Other clinically appropriate interventions Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Monitor treatment progress and adjust plans as needed Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, TMS staff, and other members of the care team Participate in case consultations and treatment planning meetings Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when necessary Ensure compliance with all ethical, legal, and professional standards QualificationsRequired Active Texas license as one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) under supervision Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) with mental health therapy experience Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related field Experience providing outpatient mental health therapy Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and treatment planning skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Experience treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders Experience working with military populations, veterans, and first responders Experience with evidence-based trauma treatments Current credentialing with TRICARE, the VA Community Care Network, or major commercial insurance carriers Candidates already credentialed or actively in the credentialing process with a clear timeline to independent billing are highly preferred Why Join Katie's Way?
