We are a faith-based practice that partners with local churches and nonprofit organizations to increase access to quality mental health care in our community. Therapists here come from a variety of backgrounds, but many share a desire to serve the wider community through a grounded, compassionate approach to counseling. We're actively hiring Associate level therapist that are interested in a range of case types (individual, couples, family and teens). As well as hungry to grow professionally as well as in their caseload. What It's Like to Work Here Our group practice is built around steady support and collaboration. Associates often describe the environment as consistent, stable, and encouraging — without pressure to "perform" or compete. Your caseload grows through established referral pathways, including our church and nonprofit partners, so your energy goes into clinical work rather than marketing. Weekly LPC-S supervision is provided free of charge. Role Responsibilities Maintain a weekly caseload of 20-25 clients Participate in weekly individual supervision with an LPC-S Attend weekly team meetings, case consultation, and training rhythms Complete required clinical documentation Create brief introductory material (written or video) to help families learn about you What We're Looking For Active LPC-Associate license in Texas Master's degree in Counseling or a related mental health field You set your own schedule, with the expectation that you offer at minimum, three evening shifts per week OR two evenings plus one weekend half-day. Beyond that, the calendar is yours to build This can be a hybrid role, but expect 85%+ of your work to be in-person at our Richardson office. Willingness to be credentialed on our insurance panels under supervisor (we guide the process) — supervisory billing is central to how the caseload is built Alignment with a practice that has a Christian foundation and works closely with faith-based and nonprofit partners (therapists of all backgrounds are welcome) What You Can Expect In-house LPC-S supervisors available on-site — associates contract with them individually, giving you proximity, continuity with your cases, and clinicians who know the practice and your clients inside out A steady flow of referrals through our insurance panels and community partners; most associates establish a full caseload within two to three months Real schedule flexibility — you decide when to see clients. Minimum coverage is three evening shifts per week (or two evenings plus one weekend half-day); how the rest of your week looks is up to you as long as you are meeting your caseload goals. Typical annual range at a full caseload of 22-25 sessions per week including bonus: $60,000-$70,000 Free CEUs through in-house training and clinical curriculum — no out-of-pocket cost to keep building your skills. After full licensure, most of our associates stay on with WELD — At a comparable caseload, that path lands most fully licensed clinicians in the $85,000-$110,000 range.
