$25•32 per hour (DOE•depending on experience and licensure level) About Us Papilion Integrated Recovery Center is a compassionate, client-centered outpatient treatment center dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges. Located in the Murray area, we provide evidence-based therapy in a supportive environment, focusing on recovery, resilience, and long-term wellness. Job Summary We are seeking a fully licensed mental health professional with specialized experience or training in substance abuse treatment to join our team. The Licensed Substance Abuse Therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients with substance use disorders (SUD), co-occurring mental health conditions, and related issues. Using trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, facilitate groups, and support clients in achieving sustainable recovery. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations for substance use. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, updating them as needed. Provide direct clinical services, including individual therapy, group therapy, family sessions, and crisis intervention. Facilitate psychoeducational groups on topics such as relapse prevention, coping skills, addiction education, and recovery maintenance. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA, Utah DOPL regulations, and agency policies (e.g., progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries). Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members (e.g., prescribers, case managers, peer support specialists) and external referral sources. Monitor client progress, identify barriers to recovery, and make appropriate referrals to community resources. Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development. Adhere to ethical standards and best practices in substance abuse and mental health treatment. Qualifications & Requirements Master's degree (or higher) in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Active, unrestricted Utah license: CMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent (Associate-level licenses like

ACMHC/ACSW

may be considered with a supervision plan). Experience or specialized training in substance use disorder treatment (preferred: 1+ years post-licensure; new licensees with strong SUD internship/practicum experience encouraged to apply). Knowledge of evidence-based practices for addiction and co-occurring disorders (e.g., Motivational Interviewing, CBT, 12-Step facilitation, harm reduction). Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competency, and ability to build rapport with diverse clients. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills. Ability to pass background check and drug screening (as required for client safety). Preferred Qualifications Certification or endorsement in substance use disorders (e.g., CSUDC, CASUDC, or equivalent).
